There is so much controversy on what to eat after a workout, here is a few tips and
snacks I recommend!

Remember these are only MY personal recommendations!
Tips:
Stay AWAY From:
1. Fat
Because you can do so much better.
3. Salt
Consuming Salt will lower your levels of Potassium, which is HIGHLY needed for recovery!
4. Refined Sugars
Sugar is counterproductive for losing weight and slows down your metabolism.
Do Consume:
1. Protein
Your muscles need it, so eat lots of it!
2. Carbs
Your body needs them to replenish.
Snacks:
Protein Shakes
Quest Protein- Peanut Butter
Private Selection- Mango, Banana & Strawberry Blend
Small Banana
Small Kiwi
Block Kale
Season's Choice- Sliced Peaches
Apple Sandwich/Peanut Butter
AppleSnaQ- Red
Skippy-Reduced Fat Creamy Peanut Butter
Rice Cakes/Peanut Butter
Unsalted Rice Cakes
Better'n Peanut Butter- Creamy
(I also added Dried Strawberry on half)
Whole Wheat Toast/Almond Butter/Banana
Whole Wheat Toast
Justin's Almond Butter- All Natural
Small Banana
(I also added a pinch of Ground Cinnamon)
Hummus/Tortilla Baked Chips/Carrots
Little Salad Bar- Classic Hummus
Pueblo Lindo- Flour Tortillas Small
OR
Baby Carrots
Oatmeal/Cinnamon/Banana
Quaker- Old Fashioned Oats
Stonemille Ground Cinnamon
Small Banana
Yes, I am very aware that I used Nut Butters in a lot of these snacks, but you can substitute for
Low Fat or Reduced Fat, like I have, you won't have any problems!
