18 Things I Learned In 2015



Hey guys!

Sorry I've been M.I.A. for a while, but I'm back!
Let me know what you guys want to see! :)


1. Enjoy The Little Things
Play more with your dog, enjoy the achy stomach pain of over-laughing, listen to that WAY too over played song on the radio, remember the horrible embarrassment of your parents, and especially the annoyance of your siblings!

2. Never Go To Bed Without Telling Loved Ones “Goodnight”
Trust me, it's so worth it!

3. Travel More
Whether you just take a road trip with a few good friends to the outskirts of town or actually buy a random airline ticket and leave, just get out there!

4. Take A ME Break
You deserve it! Sometimes we all need a little break. So go swimming, take a walk, enjoy a nap, do some yoga/meditation, Netflix/hulu all day, whatever it is that you please!

5. Get Plenty Of Sleep
I know, we all here too much of this, but seriously guys sleep is everything! Get some quality 8-9 hours of sleep once in a while, it will be a miracle on how you feel the next day.

6. Exercise
Go for a jog, a run, lift some weights, walk a few stairs, sweat a little and release those endorphins! Your body will feel so much better.

7. Be Healthy
Drink more water even if you have to add lemon.
Drink Chamomile or Herbal Tea before you go to bed.
Put that bag of chips down and grab some carrots with hummus.
Your body needs it.

8. Do What YOU Love
Don’t let anyone pull you away from what you’re passionate about. Whether it's being a manager for your favorite sport, working-out, cutting sugar/carbs, or even trying to get a good grade. You Do You!

9. It’s Okay To Buy Wants
Buy that $9.00 mascara, or even the new Apple Watch, or those name brand $150 jeans! Sometimes we have to treat ourselves, and who knows! You might feel better!

10. Value Family Time
Every boring dinner meal where you sit down and talk about your day.
Every Text/Call from loved ones.
Every hug/kiss when you need it the most.
They will end up being the ONLY ones there for you in your time of need.

11. Don’t Give Out Trust
Especially to people who don’t deserve it, save yourself a heartbreak.

12. Don’t Wear Your Heart On Your Sleeve
Don’t fall for some boy/girl who could careless about the way you feel. Sure it's okay to have a crush, just don't fall too fast. 
I've made this decision way too much. It's time for a change!

13. Talk/Visit Distant Loved Ones
They would love to see your beautiful face or hear your voice once in awhile.
Cherish them while you can.

14. Cherish Your Friends
Especially the ones who have been there the longest. Give em a hug, tell them how much you appreciate all they do for you, it'll make their day!

15. Eat That Snickers!
Or Twix
Or Sour Patch Kids
Or Reese's Cups
Or Fruit Rings
Or Hershey's
Or Hot Tamales
Or Nerds
Or Skittles
You get the point.
It’s okay to eat a little sugar once in a while!

16. Stay On Top Of Homework/ Assignments
I don’t know about your school, but with mine if you get behind, you’re behind forever. Stay on top of it! It will definitely improve your grades!

17. Take A Lazy Day
Netflix/Hulu ALL DAY LONG!
Wear sweats to school one day.
Take your makeup off for once.

18. Love Life

Most Importantly, LOVE LIFE! You’re here for a reason, don’t waste time complaining and dwelling over the past, move on and be happy with yourself!
